PCM Group started its Journey in 1962 with civil construction work for MES in the eastern part of India, later expanding to other Government Departments like Irrigation, Electricity Board, and PWD. In 1975 the Group shifted to the manufacturing business and started with the first plant of PCC (Pre Cast Concrete) Poles in Krishnanagar in Nadia district of West Bengal. In 1976, the second unit of PCC Poles was set up in the Coochbehar district of West Bengal. Over a period of time the Group successfully diversified in other sectors Pioneering in Railway Sleepers Manufacturing, Pole Manufacturing, Flash Butt welding, and Manufacturing of SGCI Inserts for Concrete Sleepers and Real Estate.
